Actress Sunny Leone is going to make her South debut as an actor. The upcoming project has been titled as Veeramahadevi. It is going to be helmed by VC Vadivudaiyan, the big-budget action drama also has Navdeep in a lead role. Currently, the film is in pre-production stage and Sunny is undergoing training in sword fighting.
Sunny Leone posted a video on her Twitter and said, “I am thrilled to be the part of this upcoming periodical drama Veeramadevi and looking forward to start the shoot of the film very soon.” The filmmaker revealed that Veeramadevi was a popular warrior who lived in the south decades ago.
Sunny Leone offered a sweet surprise to Telugus by sharing a video message too. ‘Namaskaram Telugu Prajalara…Nenu Veera Mahadevi. And I am very excited to do the periodical film soon in the great classical language Telugu,’ she told in the video message.

Sunny Leone has given a call sheet of 150 days for this periodic drama. She is getting trained in martial arts, sword fighting and horse riding by a trainer from Mumbai. The regular shoot will be started from January. Around 70 minutes of the movie is said to be CG driven so the companies that did the CG for Baahubali and 2.0 have been roped in for this movie. The upcoming drama is expected to release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages in a grand manner.
