SS Rajamouli Recently in an interview has spoken about his favourite film of the year. The number one director of Indian Film Industry has chosen a debutant director’s movie as his favorite movie of 2017. Rajamouli went on to say, “After watching many films this year, Arjun Reddy Movie starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey is my pick. I really liked the film a lot. It is raw, pure and intense.” The film is directed by Sundeep Reddy Vanga. Well, this news is a delight for Arjun Reddy makers and the entire cast.
After the release of Arjun Reddy Movie, Rajamouli also praised the performance of Vijay and work of Sandeep Reddy in a series of tweets. He wrote, “Just saw Arjun Reddy. Though love stories are not my cup of tea, can’t but appreciate the film. Top notch performance by Vijay Deverakonda. He just lived it. Not just him, Shalini Pandey, the friends, everyone were so good and natural. The very good background score and fine photography. (sic).”
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series have crushed several preexisting records at the box office and created history. If Baahubali: The Beginning took the nation by storm with its superb storytelling and stellar performances in 2015, the second installment Baahubali 2: The Conclusion took the adulation and reception a notch higher, and the record-breaking box office collections at the box office.
