The Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal took to Twitter today morning to share a still from the sets of his upcoming movie ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’. He captioned it, “#IthikkaraPakki #KayamkulamKochunni.” Mohanlal Crazy STUNT Photos has grabbed the several eyeballs. While his fans are raving about his looks, a section of the film buffs did not fail to notice the similarities with Gladiator, the Greek Warrior.
Mohanlal is playing a cameo in Kayamkulam Kochunni whereas Nivin Pauly will be seen in the title role. Priya Anand is playing the female lead role. Directed by Roshan Andrews, the upcoming drama is based on the life of a highwayman who lived in the 19th century in the Central Travancore region. This Robinhood style thief stole from the rich to feed the poor. Kochunni died in jail in 1859. A devout Muslim, who prayed five times a day, he developed a dislike for the rich as he had grown up in abject poverty.
The film which is being made on the budget of around Rs 10 Cr, is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under his banner Sree Gokulam Films. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Priyanka Thimmesh, Manikandan R. Achari, Babu Antony, Sunny Wayne, Thesni Khan and Jude Anthany Joseph in an important role.
