Actress Kajal Aggarwal who is one of the most sights after leading ladies of the South Indian film Industry is also a much demand model who has endorsed many brands in past. In 2008, the actress Kajal Aggarwal had featured in a popular brand VVD coconut oil.
 
Sometime back, Kajal Aggarwal filed a petition in the Madras high court against a hair oil brand and said that even after her contract with the company ended, the hair oil brand is still using her name and claimed Rs 2.5 Cr as compensation. 
 
The case came up for the hearing yesterday on 9th August. The Judge Ravichandran dismissed Kajal Aggarwal’s suit and made it clear that an absolute owner of the copyright of a commercial film has every right to exploit the material for 60 years as enshrined under Copyright Act. The court also ordered Kajal Aggarwal to bear all the court expenses of the company.
 
The VVD has not exploited the commitment and violated the conditions in advertising their products with the appearance of Kajal Aggarwal’s profile, so as to cause prejudice to her. Therefore, she was not entitled to damages for the so-called misuse and violation of the contract by the VVD, the judge added.
