Actor Irrfan Khan recently won two back to back Best Actor Awards at Filmfare and Screen Awards for his performance in Hindi Medium this year and fans of the actor will be delighted to know that the Hindi Medium sequel is slated to go n floors this year. However, while Hindi Medium Movie was a satirical take on the admission process in top schools and the things parents have to go through to secure admissions for their children, we have heard that the sequel will talk about loopholes in the college admission system.
A source revealed, “The story flash-forwards by a decade so five-year-old Pia will be in her teens now, around 15-16 years. The story will be a fresh take on the Indian educational system with little reference to the original.”
The other omission is director Saket Chaudhary who has earlier worked on films like Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Shaadi Ke Side Effects. “I have no idea about the film, I’m not a part of it,” he informed Mumbai mirror shortly when contacted. Dinesh Vijan who produced the film with Bhushan Kumar and recently inked a multiple-project film deal with him will once again produce the film with the T-Series head honcho.
