A news presenter of a Telugu TV Channel, V6 ended her life by jumping from the terrace of a building in Moosapet area on Sunday night. The 36-year-old anchor Radhika Reddy was found dead with multiple injuries at Srivila Apartments. She left a suicide note stating that she was suffering from depression.
According to the police report, Radhika Reddy returned from office after finishing her work and directly went to the fifth floor of the building and jumped, leaving behind a suicide note. The suicide note was recovered from her bag which she had left behind on the building.
She wrote, “Due to depression I am killing myself. Nobody else is the reason. My brain is my enemy.” Kukatpally ACP Bhujanga Rao said, “The incident took place at 10.40pm.” Radhika also has a 14-year-old son, who is mentally challenged. Anchor Radhika Reddy was a recent divorcee. She divorced her husband six months ago and was staying with her parents in Moosapet. Kukkatpally police have booked a case and the investigation is going on.
