We need to be fearless and speak up against any kind of injustice like sexual harassment, casting couch without thinking what people around us might think. I know that it’s very tough to say no at that moment because say no means losing out the opportunities but if you have talent then nobody can stop you. So there is need to say no.”
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari also talked about the recent incidents – Kathua and Unnao rape and murder cases. The Cheliyaa actress said, “The accused should be punished to set an example for others.” Aditi Rao Hydari also played a rape victim in Bhoomi in the direction of Omung Kumar, which was released in 2017.
