Sketch Movie Story Plot:
Sketch aka Jiiva (Vikram) is the man in control and carries out his job with absolute perfection. He plays a trusted employee to Saettu (Hareesh Peradi), who offers loans for motor vehicles. A sketch is entrusted with the job of seizing the vehicles if the due amount is not paid.
One day, Saettu explains how he ended up there and emotionally explains how a vintage Fiat car was flicked by Royapuram gangster Kumar (Babu Raj) from his father. Sketch and three of his friends are moved, and carefully chalk out a plan to seize the car. The repercussions are heartless and the proceedings that follow reveal who is at fault.
Sketch Movie Review:
Chiyaan Vikram is at his best as the cool gangster with a heart of gold, and his rough and tough looks are reminiscent of his Bheema days and his act is as always enticing. Tamannaah has been given a tremendous image makeover with simple looks of a girl next door and clad classy in sarees, and with her subdued act, appeals.
RK Suresh and Ravi Kishan are at their menacing best and impress with their stunning Villainy. The rest of the cast including Vela Ramamoorthy and Radharavi is just adequate. One of the high points of the film is the climax, and Vijay Chandar takes us by surprise. If he could have concentrated more on the first half and the screenplay, the message in the climax would have hit the right notes.
Sketch Movie Rating: 3/5
Verdict: Sketch Movie is a commercial entertainer ideal for mass audiences and hardcore Vikram fans. Let’s face it, Tamannah’s score and the sincerity that Vikram brings to the film are its only strengths.
