Rangasthalam Remake: The creative and talented filmmaker Sukumar and Mega Power Star Ram Charan have joined their hands for an upcoming project ‘Rangasthalam 1985’, which is progressing at brisk pace and is on the verge of completion. The entire story of the film will take place in 1980’s.

Recently the makers released the Ram Charan first look poster of the film shows Chitti Babu dancing ecstatically for some reason. Actress Samantha Akkineni is playing the female lead, while Pooja Hegde will be seen in a special song in the film, being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Now according to the latest buzz in Tollywood film Industry, Rangasthalam 1985 is being touted as a silent remake of ‘Oorukichchina Maata‘, directed by M. Balaia and jointly produced by Suryanarayana Alaparthi and Venkat Rao Mannava. The film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, Betha Sudhakar, and Madhavi, which was released in 1981.

Director Sukumar has taken special care while making the movie. It is heard that Sukumar has taken inspiration and references from Chiranjeevi and prepared the storyline of Rangasthalam 1985. The makers have changed the Ram Charan’s look and he will be seen as a differently abled person in this Village drama.
